A window on the world

Our mission comes down to three commitments: your child’s well-being, health and safety at all times. From there, we support their overall development and gently prepare them to start school.

Our educational program is built on Accueillir la petite enfance, the Québec Ministère de la Famille’s program. We add our own values: diversity, integration and respect for the environment.

Children are not vessels to be filled, but fires to be lit.
The words that guide our team

What matters to us

  • RespectFor oneself, for others and for the environment. Children learn to say what they feel and to find their place among friends.
  • DiversityChildren come to us from all over the globe. Our multicultural community enriches every child here.
  • SharingTrading, helping each other, seeing things from a friend’s side and celebrating good moments.
  • IndependenceDoing things on their own, naming emotions and expressing needs, always at their own pace.

Why parents trust us

A gentle welcome
When a new child joins us, their parent can stay with them until they feel at ease.
From garden to plate
Children garden and pick vegetables from our organic garden. Meals are cooked on site and follow Canada’s Food Guide: one full meal and two snacks a day.
A kitchen open to the world
Our kitchen also draws on the tastes of friends from other countries, so every child finds a little of home.
No screen time
At daycare there are no tablets or television for children. We play freely, make things and go outside.
Young and old together
Children go to the library every week and visit the seniors at Centre Bonne Entente.
Parents have a say
A parents’ committee is consulted on important parts of our educational program.
